A huge problem with the usb of my s4. Posted on: 18.05.2011 by Yuonne Ingamells So one Night I turned my s4 off and unplugged it and put it away, now this morning it won't even start up...I notice that the master light is on and working properly but it seems that my computer does not recognize the USB.Has anyone had this problem? Is there any fixes? Does native instruments have a good repair policy? | |

Lavette Zediker 21.05.2011 | I had a simular problem when I only powered mine through usb. What confuses me is that sometimes it works without the PSU, and at other times it just can seem to find the unit, while the soundcard still working. If you are using the psu it might be another problem, otherwise plug it in and try... |
Valda Wallisch 20.05.2011 | I've tried this.. Just restarted computer and it worked again. But i can guess you have already tried this. |
Leeanna Ayla 19.05.2011 | Try deleting the default mapping in the controller manager, then adding it again and see if that helps. |
Yuonne Ingamells 19.05.2011 | hmmm I haven't checked the drivers ,yet I feel like I shouldn't have too...The issue might not be a usb software program but rather a Hardware problem. While checking behind the s4 at the usb slot i notice that the usb sits in it kind of loosely and it has quite of a flex...What do you guys believe? |
Rashida Stieb 18.05.2011 | It happens to me too, I use a friends s4 and it never seems to work on my system (same problem as OP). |
Karolis Petrauskas 18.05.2011 | It happens to me quite a bit...reboot your computer. It's strange because with the s4 software this would never happen. I believe it's T2 related. Windows 7 here...how about you guys? |
