New DJ tech controllers

I've seen these a few weeks ago on scratchworx, but no threads about them here. They are suited for a more traditional dj I guess. So, what do you believe about them? I really like the cdj one and the mixer one doesn't look bad either

I definetly agree. This is pretty much what I meant earlier with "their only problem is that...". I really mean it literally; the stated really is the only problem with the gear.

With a bit of work - and if they can keep their prices at a comparable level to current - they could give quite a lot of companies a run for their money.

the imix reload MK2 is awesome, the plastic case is lightweight but not bad, the jogs are the same high quality metal ones as the little controllers. its a good product and solid quality but the case is lightweight, not bad though, its a solid product overall.

It'd be really nice to see something on the i-mix reload mkII ...I'm between that and the vci-100. The pros of the i-mix reload are that it's $50 cheaper and has a built in sound card. The cons obviously the plastic and the lack of a quality review. Anyone?

I was demoing these at NAMM for DJ Tech, I am the guy in the video at the scratchworkx site, these little babies are baddass, the metal platter on those little controllers is like a tank part, very solid, they should be available sometime in March is my understanding.

and I am going to Germany for Music Messe in Frankfurt with DJ Tech in March, I'll get more info about these then and I'll try and make a better video.

I personally demoed all the dj tech gear, and the touch sensitive jog wheels are spot on. TBH they are really good. Little to no latency (depends also on the dj program & settings)

14 bit pitch fader on the cdj-101* is probably nice, but one's gotta wonder how precise will the platter be.

*everytime you say "dj-tech cdj-101" (or their djm-101 for that matter), a lawyer for Pioneer dies a little

I like the modular idea though as you an mix and match to fit your needs/style or just buy certain ones to compliment your current set up.

Just need to change the colour scheme and I believe that will take way the "toy" look.

The price is going to be the major deal breaker me believes.

Yeah they would do a lot better if they replaced the product manager quick fast, those adds are wack.

yes, like x-session pro
until now thats the only simple midi mixer with 4 channels...
I would use it with 2 stantons SCS.3d

Agree. I believe if they made a nice looking cheap 4 deck midi mixer they would make some sales for sure. I know I would be interested.

You could always just run a quick matte black spray paint over their product as that would vastly improve their look.
I'm gonna send them my resume for a product design partner cause whoever is currently working their should start reading the feedback.

Eh, if you can get past the looks the gear IMO is the best bang for the buck out ATM.

Their gear is very high quality, then Jog wheels are the same tech as Pio CDJs, the Imix Reload imo is much a better bang for your buck than the VCI-100, Vextax Spin, Xponent etc.

I also like the Kontrol One more than the Xone 1d.

Their new CDJ 101 is like an EKS XP10, but much better build quality. If only they added a few more buttons for que points and efx...

Do not be surprised if DJ Tech launches a direct competitor to the NumarkV7/X7 for half the price.

Don't knock the gear because of the price.

I believe DJTech's only problem is that - unfortunately, their products honestly do look like toys

I would be interested in a reviewer's opinion of the items, though.

Now these are interesting. We should try and review these.

DJTech are really cranking out the new devices, new products every quarter it seems. Good for them.
