VCI-100 + X1 for 4-deck control
VCI-100 + X1 for 4-deck control Posted on: 01.02.2010 by Rosaura Bergholz Is anyone considering combining both the VCI-100SE and an X1 for always visible 4-deck control? The X1 is relatively inexpensive and seems like it would be sufficient for controlling loop/fx/samples running on C & D while the VCI controlled program material on A & B. I'm not a big juggler, so this seems to me more ideal than a VCI + MidiFighter. Thoughts? -kundabuffer | |

Tyler Wiehe 12.02.2010 | I actually dont se anything that can compar for the price get yourself a x1 to go with your vci!! i see no other controller that can match its price/performance. I have a 1d/2d/62 setup and have also a VCI100Se/x1 setup trust me!! |
Michael Idler 11.02.2010 | me too - I am interested on any follow-up that anyone out there has on this...for the same reasons everyone one noted above, easy 4 deck control. With a $199 price tag, the X1 seems like a good option...especially since it is set-up to go from the start with Traktor, so no tough mapping... |
Gregoria Dostal 07.02.2010 | if anyone has done this i would love to know how it works out. I'm believeing of getting an X1 because I make too many mistakes when switching to deck 3&4 and I dont have enough money for another VCI100 SE |
Ola Fornwalt 01.02.2010 | Xone 42 and 2 1ds Thats like 1100 |
Lorrine Eckstein 01.02.2010 | I'd Like to hear others views on this also as I'm looking for a controller to pair with or replace my vci for 4 deck mixing with a good work flow... I'm also considering a midi keyboard (oxygen 8 maybe). |
