Reply to Mod: Vertical Fader to Rotary Fader, like VCM-100?

Love this community and rotary faders!
Is it possible to change the vertical faders on VCI-100 to rotary ones, like VCM-100?
Has anyone tried?
Since I see 2 screws for each fader, I thought I could replace it, like other Vestax's mixers.

Any information or advise would be much appreciated!
I am willing to take the risk!!
