VCI-100 se vs. Kontrol x1 & Xone 22
He all,

I dj digitally with traktor at small clubs, expositions, at home / house party's. Mostly together with other dj's using cdjs and vinyl.

I'am looking for a mobile / small form factor controller + home / non-club setup. Now I'am really enthusiastic about the vci-100 se. But in small clubs there is mostly just place for my gear on top of the hood of one sl1200, some booths it is hard to even get a stand in like the crane. Plus I like to mix on the regular dj mixer in the club for high def faders and filters, and not be standing behind my screen all the time. And maybe in the near future dj with timecode vinyl as well.

I reckon a mbp + vci-100se won't fit on the hood of 1 sl1200, correct me if I'm wrong. I'am not actively going to use the jog wheels and won't be using tone controls and line faders on the vci for mixing, of course I can assign them to other fx & stuff. But I feel I don't need all the real estate of the vci, and my setup wouldn't be the same as home(no ext dj mixer). But still for home use a all-in-one light-weight option would sweet as well...

For almost the price of a Vci I can get the x1 + ext. mixer. The kontrol x1 seems a good option form because of it's small form factor and effective mapping + for my home setup a good beginners 2 channel dj mixer like the xone 22. And if I would play in clubs I'll just take the x1 which integrates well size-wise in a fixed setup of a small club dj booth, and be comfertably the same setup as at home.

Do you guys have any comments or tips to help me out with my choice. Nice!
