Reply to Numark Omni Control / Hercules RMX?

I have done quite a bit of reading here and would like to know what you guys believe of the Numark Omni Control or the Hercules RMX? I am totally new and need a cheap digital setup to get started. I really need this to be in the 300 range. I have read that the BCD3000 and MK2 are no go. So I thought that this would be the next logical way to go? I would love any help.
