My Lighted Arcade Button Modification (part1)
Posted on: 25.10.2010 by Lanny Vanosten
looks like I need 10 photos to show all the steps and only 5 are allowed so I will post this tutorial in 2 parts.

Ok so I did some research on the buttons, the led's, the circuit diagram and this is my lighted arcade button mod.

First, the buttons i used were the Seimitsu-PS-DNC-24mm

The reason for this was that it came with a clear button where I could get the light to shine through. These buttons are the same size to the Sanwa buttons here at ranking s except it has a lock nut instead of the push and lock connector.

You then remove the clear exterior button from the housing.
Use a 1/8" drill bit and drill in the sides of the housing at the bottom ensuring the holes are collinear to the plunger inside.
3.jpg

Next install the leds and hot glue gun them from the outside housing. Let them sit for a good 5-10 minutes.

5.jpg

(5 images max) hopefully ranking s can edit the 2 posts and put them together...continued (part 2)
