Reply to Xone 62 vs. Xone 42 (and a few others)

I have been believeing of making the move to external mixing (using Traktor Pro). Up til now the mixers in consideration were Denon DN-X1600 (as the nice digital all-in-one solution with integrated interface and FX) or the Denon DN-X1100/Ecler Nuo 4.0/A&H Xone:42 in combination with a NI Audio8DJ and TSP (even though I don't have decent turntables to adequately use the timecode options right now, this seems to be the cheapest option to get a quality interface with 8-channel-output). The Xone:42 was the unlikeliest solution in my previous considerations as it would basically kill my budget, but I have still kept it in mind due to all the good things I have been reading about the quality of the Allen&Heath products. But now I've found an offer which makes the price difference between Xone:42 and Xone:62 (which was completely out of the picture so far) negligible, but it probably won't last particularly long. So I'm wondering, would it be worth it, to make the decision on the mixer sooner than expected, even if it would mean a bit of a financial stretch and I wouldn't be able to afford an 8-out-interface at the same time (but I guess being constricted to 2 channel mixing until I can afford an interface would be bearable, if the mixer is a way better solution than the other options).

So for now, the question arises: how much better is the Xone:62 than the Xone:42? The important points I have noticed so far are: on the plus side the 4 channel EQ (that's somewhat of a big point, as I quite like to play around with the EQs and am using this option while mixing internally right now), and on the downside the Xone:62 having channel VU meters with only 4 units (this probably shouldn't be neglected, as one of the points why I want to switch to external mixing is visual feedback). The other differences seem to be mostly of minor importance for my purposes. The 62 being a 6-channel-mixer might come in handy, if I ever wanted to add something like a drummachine to the setup, but that could only happen in the distant future, so this is hardly a dealbreaker for the 4-channel-mixers.

Any thoughts on this anyone?

(I have by now learned, that you get visual feedback on the main meters when cueing tracks, so the VU meters might not be a problem after all)
