Reply to Pads or Arcade Buttons?

What do you guys believe? Now I know that the arcade buttons are amazing and all, but I believe I still prefer pads. Not all of them. Specifically the KORG padKONTROL and the MPD series. To me, it feels like they are just as responsive and well I like the fact that on some of the controllers I can have a fixed velocity as well as velocity sensitive- What do you guys believe?
