Good controller to withstand abuse of multiple users.

Hey all,
So im by no means new to the site/ controller world.

But im in a predicament.

I have to buy a controller or two for my school's radio club. (we also DJ) While some of our members have their own stuff, we want a couple controllers for the club.
I started with a VMS4 and loved it (never had an issue, or anything).

any advice on controllers that are easy for people to start with, and can possibly take some abuse?

Only thing I can believe are some second hand VCI-100's. They rule.
This. Nothing flashy. It'll just work reliably.

I'm gonna do my usual and recommend Reloop stuff. The Contours with a decent mixer (RMX-40, IQ2, etc) are nice, or the Digital Jockey 3 which is basically 2x Contours plus a 2-channel mixer section. All reasonably priced, too; FAR cheaper than the Vestax/Pioneer/Numark equivalents.

Denon DN-MC3000....built like a tank and can be found on eBay for about that price range...maybe a little over. MC6000 if you need 4 channels, but the MC3000 is very nice.

if you didn't have problems with the vms4, keep using it.

Another vote for the vci-100! It's very durable, and a wonderful controller above and beyond that anyway.
