Maps - Controller Mappings Forum?
Maps - Controller Mappings Forum? Posted on: 23.04.2012 by Rey Holubar Hey John,Now that Maps is online (great work BTW), how about we close the "Controller Mappings" community so no new threads can be started and create a new community called "Controller Mapping Discussions" or just rename the current community to "Controller Mapping Discussions"? The idea is to get people to use the new mapping database for mapping publications. scamo | |

scamo we already have the community and blog comments disjoint - what we dont need is something else. i love the idea of the maps site - esp if login+passwords could be shared between that and the community . what i'm not excited about is yet another comments system on the djtt site. there's probably some very cool comments on the midimaps site and stuff i could maybe help with or at least comment on, even tho i don't have those specific controllers, but would never know about them unless i check every one individually. if i could click on a section of the community and see all the midimaps threads/comments and what the latest one was for each then that would be perfect. but then that would be the community ofc... |

Rey Holubar 08.05.2012 | You are right, we still need a place to discuss mapping controllers. How about just changing the name of the community
to "Controller Mapping" or even "Controller Mapping Discussions"? As for disjoint, comments can be written under the mapping in the new maps section. It is just not as nice as in the community . scamo |

Marcel Sop 23.04.2012 | Make available to upload 2 files instead of just 1 ... in my case i was trying to upload my Lemur-Serato Map but the problem is that if you upload only mappings you wont have the lemur file ... |
Rey Holubar 23.04.2012 | In general, I believe a ToS is missing for DJTT. scamo |
Leeanna Ayla 23.04.2012 | I was believeing about this yesterday. How are we planning to get the current mappings posted into the Maps? Can we stick each mapping on it's own page and then have a claim this mapping link? It would need some type of approval process I guess to make sure it really was their mapping. |
