Rugby World Cup 2011 Posted on: 21.08.2011 by Lin Danek Now that Jes has changed his location to RWC 2011, I guess it's time to start talking about your country's chances. As previous title-holders and one-time southern hemisphere contenders, I'm embarressed to say I am not very confident. We did beat you yesterday Jes, but it's too little, too little. Time to commit gentlemen.

Tatum Ansaldo 22.08.2011 | Wales have been looking good in their warm up games. Very good result against Argentina the other day. |
Gregory Finely 22.08.2011 | In all honestly I back all home nations, why i bother i don't know but it's nice to see any of them play well and being part mick i feel a little bit of the celt pop up to put my English side back in it's place lol but I do believe that the all blacks have and always will have an amazing team with depth, but they do choke ;-) I hope for you sake they don't be nice to see them win it for once.. as for other world cup sides big fan of the underdog too, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga always get my backing if it's not against a home country.. either way going to love the old rugby world cup a proper sport... |
Lawana Spratlen 22.08.2011 | I hope that Wales put a good show in this year! Gutted to see Fiji and Samoa in the group as they seem to be bogey teams for us! Weve been looking ok in the warm ups though! Wales to thrash the Kiwis in the final!!!!! Seriously, if its not Wales who win, I really hope it goes to the all blacks, they could do with some good news after all the earthquakes they have been having. |
Spencer Kilcoyne 22.08.2011 | Ah, the Rugby World Cup - aw yeah.

Saying that we looked like crap before the last World Cup and managed to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and make the final (by some sort of miracle ...) |
Latoria Kavulich 22.08.2011 | Oh my town (Blenheim) hosted the Russian lads a week or so ago .. i wondered why all these russian signs were up everywhere ! |

August 5 - The Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, which is set to host a number of key games during the upcoming Rugby World Cup, has been officially opened by New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key. It was opened with the unveiling of a foundation stone, and it is the only roofed, multipurpose arena that has a natural grass turf in the world. Key reaffirmed that the Government was delighted to have contributed NZ$15 million ( |

Tatum Ansaldo 22.08.2011 | Gentlemen. this was one of my life's most glorious moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nEQSmaeqGA and this year we even have a black kit to steal a bit of that kiwi good fortune: We're number one in the world in test cricket, no one thought that was possible. Bring on the rugby world cup! seriously though, what is it with you guys starting the matches at 2am. That's just inconsiderate |
Latoria Kavulich 22.08.2011 | so young ... so much hate lol |
Candy Vardy 22.08.2011 | Nuff said... |
Latoria Kavulich 22.08.2011 | Most likely (again) lol. Weekend's match with the Boks was just a trial though. We have 30 players that have to be cut down to 22, so some great guys are gonna miss out.Not exactly a "B" team but Coach Henry basically didn't give a shit if they lost but was happy at least no tries got through. The new golden boy, Sonny Bill, is gonna bulldoze a lot of teams but he's not an A grade player yet. Will be awesome off the bench tho. |
Gregory Finely 22.08.2011 | all black will probably choke, going to support England no real choice in the matter and having played myself for a fair few years it's easy to understand! |

Lin Danek 21.08.2011 | @ Keith and Chris - would be pleasure - then you could explain American Football to me. |
Leeanna Ayla 21.08.2011 | I work with a guy who played in college and refs it now. I don't understand it at all. |
Margie Pavell 21.08.2011 | i wish i could sit with one of you a drink beer and watch a match so you could explain rules and scoring to me... |
Susy Gauger 21.08.2011
May Artman 21.08.2011 | USA's totally got this. |
Jacquelyn Swiatkowski 21.08.2011 | Scotland has always been my team because of my family but I don't see them winning this year. Rugby is one of those sports I just like to watch and I don't really care too much about who wins. If I had to pick like my 5 favourite teams I'd pick -scotland -australia -south africa -england -canada so if any of those are playing I'll be cheering for them. and if they play each other it's just exciting :P |
Teresia Janusch 21.08.2011 | Well, we've done poor in our warmups but I fancy our chances until we meet the all blacks |
