Unfortunately I usually feel that way about Christmas. They start in freakin September putting up Christmas crap forsale in stores, so by early December I'm over it.

Can I be the Ghost Of Halloween Past please? I love the idea of celebrating the harvest festival, and if the crop was good you were a good Wicker Witch. If it was bad you were ugly with a hook-nose and a broom-stick and got burned at the stake - tough job. Pumpkin Pie is good, and if you cut holes in it to ward off the evil of a bad harvest, then it's recycling! Amazing how lucrative plagiarising Paganism can be!

Im glad its over.
Never played a single halloween 'classic', never got a request for any - despite the ridiculous outfits (mine inclusive) it would seem I had quite a discerning crowd. Amazing how the West keeps the Chinese economy afloat with all that plastic crap in our stores mass-produced in their sweat-shops.

Yeah mate its massive. It wasnt so big when i was a kid and there were certainly no costumes and plastic shit in all the shops but now its a huge money making scam so they drag it out for a week now.

In my city every club has had a Halloween Party/Ball.
The Uni had one every evening for 4 nites in a row.

I did the club i work at last nite and the Rock/Metal club on a tuesday is doing its annual Halloween Ball tonite.

People have been coming out dressed up and demanding shit halloween songs all last week/weekend.

I just get very bored of it really quick.

Also, no matter how smart you are as a DJ people only want to hear about 4 songs. All the millions of Halloween related tunes simply dont work on the average dancefloor.

I loaded my sample decks with screams , witches laughter , howling wolves etc got drunk and did a 5 hour gig last nite. Im glad its over.
