Logic Pro 7 Tips/Tricks/Advice (Newb)

Hey all, I've just purchased logic pro 7 and would love any tips/tricks & advice.

I've played around with garage band for a few months & found it very easy and fun, so decided on buying logic pro 7 (couldn't afford 9).

I've installed logic pro 7, had a play around with it for a couple hours and not got very far (at all!)...

I have all the manuals etc, which I have started reading (though they are quite daunting).

I'm interested in producing dubstep/fidget & electro House/Drum & bass (I'm guessing I would be better off picking one style to learn first - If so I would probably go for Dubstep!!)

If any one could point me in the right direction on getting started, it would be much appreciated.
