Reply to Beginner Producer seeking advice

Hello everyone,

I am an aspiring music producer and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what to call this part of the song (and the effect), so I can find tutorials on how to create this in my own songs. I am currently using FL Studio as my DAW.

I believe it is called a breakdown and if so I would like to know the name of the effect Hardwell is using.
