Beginner Producer seeking advice
Beginner Producer seeking advice Posted on: 08.06.2013 by Isaura Dimonda Hello everyone,I am an aspiring music producer and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what to call this part of the song (and the effect), so I can find tutorials on how to create this in my own songs. I am currently using FL Studio as my DAW. Here is the link to the song: . The part I am interested in occurs at 1:03-1:08. I believe it is called a breakdown and if so I would like to know the name of the effect Hardwell is using. Thanks for your help, amach23 | |

It's kinda easy to do one: sinewave > relative long release/sustain > cut everything over 150-200hz > maybe some reverb to spice it up. Maybe put a kick on it to give it some more impact (cut everything below 100hz on this kick). |
