Reply to My VCI controller is not working properly 8(

So i purchased the vci 100 se, as well as the midi fighter, hoping to get a nice start in djing. Dont have a lot of experience but have a handful of friends that do dj. I also know i wont just drop this like some hobby i dont care about, because music is my life.

Anyways the darn thing doesnt do anything yet. I followed the instructions on the video titled "Setting up Traktor Pro (Starter Guide)." Did everything sept the headphone thing because i dont have an external sound card. I didnt get to lower my audio latency either because its on the lowest setting, even tho in the video the setting could physically go lower. Im having the same problem i was when i tried the demo for traktor. When i play anything on either deck it sounds like ass. Some kind of horribly digitally distorted sounds come up, and the only thing that sounds musical is the percussion or beat.

Im using my creative SB X-Fi card (10 in, 4 out) as my internal sound card and audio device in traktors settings. I also have not done anything with the midi fighter except import its .tsi to see if it would work (have yet to test it since idk what im doing).

Any ideas guys? I would love to be able to mess around with this for a bit. Thanks
