a little disappointed :(

I must say I am a little disappointed with my VCI-100SE/Traktor, not so much with the features it has but with its reliability. I was playing at a friends house party just a casual thing for fun and within one hour it screwed up on me three times. All three times it was the jog wheels and pitch faders both stopped responding, and sometimes the led's on the controller wouldn't correspond with traktor. Even in just playing at home it constantly crashes i guess you could say, everytime it has a little glitch i have to restart traktor. I'm not trying to hate or anything, i was super excited to get mine. I wanted to start doing real gigs soon with it but i dont believe i have the confidence in the setup, im stuck as to what to do.

Same here, I used my new VCI Arcade for 2 evening s this weekend, both sets ended drastically when I had to restart the hardware.
I hope the update will work!

Thanks for the optimization tips. It would be pretty disappointing if I had to limit my fader fx usage at gigs though. That was a large part of the reason that I went with the vci-100se vs the vci-300.

Yes! Download the new TSI. And be wary of playing too much with your fader fx at gigs. I would suggest streamling on your Mac for live performance too:

(1) Turn off all apps and airport
(2) Tweak some features inside Traktor--no auto analyze

You do this all w/ Automator but I prefer to do it manually.

these sound like problems with the new TSI and not the controller. We are working hard at getting this new version 3 TSI super stable and working perfectly. There are still a few bugs there, particularly with the fader FX that have been identified, fixed and a file will be sent out soon.

I was coming on here to post the same issue.

I have a vci-100 with 1.3 firmware update, TP 1.2.4, latest 3.3 mapping, macbook pro snow leopard.

It happened using fader fx, my jog wheels, pitch faders and volume faders quit working.

I'll post this now also on the mapping thread.

Most the time after coming out of fader fx the jog wheels/pitch faders are un responsive. I'm using a MacBook with Snow Leopard.
