Reply to Easy ways to remove a DJTT custom overlay?

Hey guys,

Now that the latest TSI mapping for Traktor has been released (and I must say before I start, what a crackin' good job you did with it!) I'm purchasing a new overlay.

This will be the 4th overlay I've purchased from DJTT (gotta support the troops), after getting one of the old 1.x versions, a 2.x version, and then a 2.x arcade version.

While I'm totally used to the whole ripping/tearing/scraping off of old overlays, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for an easier way to remove an exisiting overlay?

I'm a bit of a neat-freak when it comes to my controller and don't want to just stick one overlay over the next.
In the past I've just ripped it off with brute strength and determination. Scraping the last bits of it with a craft-knife and spirits to dissolve the glue (that's right... im that crazy).

My plan at the moment, once I receive the new overlay, is to unscrew everything and dump the faceplate in the dishwasher with the hottest water i can get my hands on. Hoping that it at least allows me to peel it off with less tearing than usual.

Perhaps some other guys are as particular as me and know a better way to get the overlay off?
