Honestly rusko doesn't really bother me, I joke about him making brostep but he seems like a really nice dude from the old videos I've seen of him talking about production stuff.

Honestly, Rusko is one of the producers I really enjoy and generally respect. Not only do I enjoy the sounds he makes, which everyone is entitled to his opinion about that, but I've really enjoyed watching videos of him explaining his production techniques. It's really helped me understand things on a fundamental level, and he's a pretty funny guy while doing these. Seriously, he's an excellent producer.

I follow him on facebook (don't do the twitter thing) and I've been to more than a couple of his live shows. He puts on a quite talented set, if you're into that style of music. And his sound? If not anything else, it's totally his own.

Everyone has bad moments. "Celebrity" DJ's do too, and while I can't say I approve of this type of behavior, drugs do silly things to all sorts of people and I know Rusko's someone who doesn't hide his use of such things. For good or ill.

I still have a crazy amount of respect for him as a producer and DJ. He helped make Dubstep what it is today, which is a serious accomplishment.

I'm also really kind of bothered by the just straight slamming of a producer based on a single bad video clip of them, without any type of research. And I know for a fact a lot of people love to shit all over anything Dubstep related, but maybe you can take a second and replace "dubstep" with any other genre, and believe of it in that light.

So he messed up, and got pissed about a show. We don't know the reasons behind it, it doesn't open the bloody doors to start crapping in circles about a genre of music a lot of people like, and a very talented producer in that particular genre.

And I know some of you guys posting are not into Dubstep at all, that's fine.

He was acting like a kid, for whatever reason. I don't know it, you don't know it, and whatever. Knock on him for that. But don't --- Here's where I stopped reading

I disagree with this completely... there is no need to provoke people, swear needlessly and carry on like a dickhead. yes this is a community where you can say what you like but you should still be respectful of others. This is djranking s not resident advisor, ITM or DOA etc... the focus should be on making software do awesome stuff and increasing your skillset not bitching about famous producers/dj's.

Guys, keep the language down. All the hate on this community is getting out of control. Hate skrillex, hate guetta, hate pauly D, hate mau5...see where I'm going? A celebrity acts like a spoiled brat, and the hate flares up, and everyone bitches and guess what? In a week, there will be a thread because DJ X didn't have his CDJs plugged in, and everyone will go bonkers over how much they suck, how they are terrible live, don't like it, don't go see them. I like Ruskos music, lots of people do, don't like his attitude, tough. Do any of you care if my neighbor is a douche? Do any of you care if the most popular band in my city is 100% douche? No, but you won't complain about them. Sorry for the rant, but there is so much hate on here lately over DJs that apparently still have massive followings despite the fact that YOU don't like them.
