Sorry if the twitter link doesnt post correctly. I'm doing this on my iphone. Just saw this and wanted to put this guy on blast. I'm from Texas and kinda took offense to it. I've been to Stereo Live, where he played, and the sound system there kicks ass. Don't know what exactly set him off but as I read somewhere earlier, maybe he woke up and realized that he was playing Dubstep. Lol

And I quote: "Rusko is truly the originator of Brostep."
Rusko was doing the same thing those south london producers was doing, experimenting, he found a new angle and liked it, the genesis of brostep right there. And only later it picked up steam, found it's way to America and then skrillex heard it and began doing his thing.
But he knows and he apologized for it a while back. That's what the album Songs was all about, getting away from the Brostep and getting back to what he was doing.

“Brostep is sort of my fault, but now I’ve started to hate it in a way,” Rusko told BBC1’s MistaJam on air. “I kind of took it there and now everyone else has taken it too far. I tried to put a bit more energy into it…I just tried to see if it would go there. Now I believe it’s gone too far, it’s got too noisy for noisy’s sake…it’s lost a little bit of the feeling.”

Also regarding the stretcher picture: I believe that's what happened after someone brought him the sound engineer :P

Is there seriously no way to carry out this conversation in a civilized manner? I love the discussion but if we keep this up the mods are going to close this thread... It's kind of their job anyway.

Shiit, Rusko used to be a pretty nice chap back in the days with guys like Skream and Benga, 12th Planet and so on.
Now he's just some random sellout being busy with touring USA, playing brostep and acting like a rockstar.
What's wrong with South London, dude?

Rusko looks like a hobo now... no joke. wtf happened to him? Is his career really that big? i didnt know he played that many larger venues since for like the past three winters he's toured around my province (americans would call that a state) and played usually smaller venues or in university (once again for americans: college) towns. Maybe he has bigger popularity south of the border.

nah, sorry.. in America... if something is "the shit" it's good... for example: "Hey dude, do you like Gesaffelstein?" "yeah man, he is the shit!"

You mean that it's a shit track? I'm not understanding you... And the track you give us here is pretty fine! Brings back really good elements of dubstep, as it was originated from Reggae.
