Your Gig/ Party Pics
Posted on: 25.10.2010 by Wanda Insel
Hi there,

I was believeing that although we all speak daily about where we play and what we do for parties/ gigs/ actual DJ jobs, everyone else doesn't get to see it so why not start this thread to upload pics from said Gigs/ parties etc that you play anytime (if you feel they are generally viewable , I'll leave out mine where I'm wearing cowboy boots and nothing else).

My latest ones were at the end of the thread below so I won't post again:

http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=18371

Let's see some of yours then so we can all get a flavour of the places we all ply our trade!!!!

^^ this

also, the point is not to position laptop stand directly in line of view the audience has from the dancefloor to the dj booth.

trust me, i wasn't sad.

sometimes i look like that then when i'm concentrating. i will close my eyes and start scratching. we use a really huge pa, so i have to concentrate on hearing my scratches in the monitors. closing my eyes helps, especially when you've been drinking a lot.

but what about the audience looking at your laptops logo and not you, they want to see that your into the music, not into your laptop. Depends on the gig though.

From this weekend. Summer Solstice Festival in Blacksburg:

We played outside from around 2pm to 10pm, then moved the gear inside to finish off till 2am.

hopefully we can get a photo booth up for the next big party in August.

two from earlier this year.

we like to do a photo booth type thing. shots of on the us on the decks is kinda annoying because we get pictures of us all the time. it's more fun when the crowd is involved.

the pics are taken by these guys(video editing as well): random found objects

Just wanted to give Zach much thanks for taking the extra effort to ensure my DJ TT S4 bag would arrive just in time for my gig this past Saturday at Avalon Hollywood.

On the mainstage was Dirty South & Dave Aude for a sold out show! Myself, Loose Village, Steve Ryback, ADJNAMEDCK, & The Morose Project held down the Honey Lounge from 10 - 4am and had it rockin all evening .

Here is a couple sets from the evening from myself & Loose Village, plus a set from Steve Ryback. If you made it out, i hope you had an absolute blast, we sure did! In case you missed it, enjoy the pictures, video, and sets!

Really late reply (better late than never, right?), but that makes it pretty cool. Since I'm from Norway and we don't have Captain Crunch etc, I rarely automatically connect stuff like that :P
