Apple MacBook 13.3" vs Ultrabook

Avis Lekic 18.05.2013 | Novatech's a large custom computer company in the South of the Uk with very good customer service, I have bought a computer from them before and you cant get any more for your money with the prices they do. Ill probably go with the Ultrabook at its better specs and more 'future proof' |
Gaynell Rydberg 18.05.2013 | If you're getting an ultrabook, you should definitely be getting one from a name brand since the chance of you being able to service one is slim. I'm not a fan of Apple at all, but it's the better choice in this situation. |
Alphonso Deitchman 18.05.2013 | The Novatech has a better processor (not necessary for Traktor) and 1 additional USB port. The Macbook has a better screen, keyboard, trackpad, build quality, and the price difference leaves you with plenty of money for an SSD which you can install alongside the existing HDD. |
Doreen Schurle 18.05.2013 | The Ultrabook will absolutely ANNIHILATE the MacBook. Plus, if you're really set on using OS X (fuck knows why you would be) you can always install it on the Ultrabook. |
Alphonso Deitchman 17.05.2013 | Traktor runs nicely on the Windows partion on my Air with 0 optimisation |

Grace Gatica 17.05.2013 | buy a macbook 2010 7.1 and upgrade it to 8gb ram and an SSD. Works wonders and will last me another 3 years at least. |
Dorie Scelzo 16.05.2013 | I'd buy the Apple if it's in decent shape. Never heard of that brand of netbook, and that still means something to me. If it weren't for the brand I'm not familiar with, I'd pick the i5 over the c2duo...but I'd check and see how well that machine ran audio stuff before buying. As for the hard drive....I used to use a 64GB SSD as my only laptop, including DJing. It required me to be selective (all my stuff was on an external at home) but it worked just fine. |
Nedra Fresneda 16.05.2013 | C2D is all you need for Traktor, I use my 3yo MPB for production work as well and it's still running strong. Personally I rarely max out the CPU but I started with a celeron powered lappy so I'm used to intelligent CPU use. What are your needs? djing? producing? gaming? |

Luciano Hyppolite 16.05.2013 | depends on what you are using it for, digital djing with 120gb i believe you will be short, despite the sexyness off the SSD. i upgraded my macbook pro with a SSD, i run all the apps on the ssd and all of my ffiles are stored in the hdd |
Jetta Drenzek 16.05.2013 | OS X vs Windows. Spec is mute when Traktor 2.6.1 randomly doesn't work on either for unknown reasons. |
