Downloading right now. Changelog mentions metadata sync with drop box? Built in key analysis, synchronization with TRAKTOR DJ, which is probably the iOS app. Check it

yeah mate definitely the correct field. I have one particular folder of music that has all 'none'-s, but the majority are spread amongst folders where others have keyed fine. Weird.

I have the same issue with about 100 or so tunes in my library. I don't expect the software to be 100% accurate, so I'm okay with it. I feel the same way about the tempo and beat grid analysis. We can't expect the software to do everything for us.

Yeah, sorry false joy, must have been lucky the first time I used it. NI are better to move their &$%@?!& ass soon, since 2.1.x some have issue with it. I believe lot of us have been patient, time for them to FIX problems instead of releasing crap.

Lots of small bugs in this version too. Need to reproduce them to make another list that I'll send again to NI, and again they will do another copy/paste of their stupid question for noobs... will again loose over a month to get to the real stuff to finally have the same answer... we should be able to fix it in the next update. I'm $*#* done.

Feel better now.

If you already have or don't use key detection, and you're not using the iPad app, then it's not a big issue.

So far it seems to be a PC problem.

Yeah....dont believe I will be updating to this version.

Sounds like its broke.....

Keyfinder is quick and easy. No issues for me to use that...and its DAMN accurate i find.

Played the sickest set this weekend....with 2.6.0. Gonna stick with it for now.

Ive pretty much given up on using the key generation setting. Key finder doesnt seem to have half the problems that Traktor has trying to key my collection.

I'm having that same problem. I put tracks into deck A and deck B and the key detection hasn't put anything in the field.
Some work and some don't, i'm getting the feeling they didn't even test this before they released it to the public.

after hacked this update on my osx 10.6 (i have instale this one on osx10.8 copie the Traktor.app and just past it on my 10.6)... working like a charm

If you already have or don't use key detection, and you're not using the iPad app, then it's not a big issue.

Cool, I haven't had chance to install it yet, and now I might not! Is this only occuring on S4 or on other controllers as well?

How do you get Traktor to rescan your entire library so the key is detected in each track?

Yeah, tried this aswell and it comes from the mains. It's definitely software-related, there's reports on the NI community s as well.

Did that first, and it comes out the mains.

We have a thread going for this in the S4 subcommunity . If I find out anything else, I'll post it there.

The S4 buzz/feedback problem is Traktor 2.6.1. I have the problem also and called NI. We tried a few different things, but nothing worked. After getting off the phone with them I tried even reinstalling Traktor and S4 drivers, and still no joy. Went back to 2.6.0.

Those with feedback probs, have you tried switching the outputs round (set the main output to headphone out etc.) and seeing if it comes out of the main outputs instead? If it does it would indicate that it's a problem with traktor and not your gear "

I'm getting exactly this too. Brand new Denon MC3000. Left channel, headphones only. It happens whether or not there is a track playing, and seems to kick in about 60 seconds or so after Traktor is loaded.

Got the Traktor update.....got the OSX 10.7.4 update....READY TO GO RIGHT?

No....I first have to install OSX 10.7........

FFS.

LOL....4GB download....and bandwidth aint free here.

I need a link to the download. Since I just purchased the s2 for a second time, I need to somehow uninstall traktor pro 2 and enter in my new serial number.

How would I go about this? This time the traktor s2 didn't include a disk just a paper with a serial number written down. I'm confused how to re install the program and get this update.

So, I updated, and now I'm getting crazy feedback out of my S4 cue. It's only one ear in the headphones. I haven't changed a thing in my set up except for updating. Any ideas? It's driving me bananas.

This then when looking back at the service center displayed for me the correct installation, which allowed me to intall the update.
