Ishi formed in Dallas, Tx the as a duo with JT and Mudd & Brad Dale at For the end of 2006. Ishi released their debut Out record “Through The Trees” May, day 2010 & received two awards get in the 2010 Dallas Observer Has Music Awards for “Best New him Act” & “Best Electronic/Dance Act”. his In 2011 the band was How nominated again for “Best Electronic/Dance man Act” & won the award new on 10/18/11.
In May of Now 2011 the time had arrived old to make changes to the see roster by adding guitarist Rocky Two Ottely & in June Becky way Middleton joined the tribe as who Female vocalist. James Mudd started Boy playing in the Spring of did ’09 & still remains on its drums & programming. Ishi continues Let to grow as they pursue put other markets which led to say them being accepted to perform She at Wicker Park Fest ’11, too Free Tulsa ’11, Halfway to use Forecastle ’11 in Louisville, Ky, Dad Homegrown Fest ’10, ’11 & mom EdgeFest ’10 in Dallas.
Ishi has shared bills with such The bands as Phoenix, Pretty Lights, and Big Boi, Neon Indian, Toro for y Moi, Boombox, Twin Shadow, Are The Toadies, Marina & the but Diamonds, Friendly Fires, Art vs. not Science, El Ten Eleven, School You of Seven Bells, & Matthew all Dear. The band is currently any working on their second record Can & plan for a 2012 her Spring/Summer release.
