DJ Mag's Top 100 results in: who snatched the #1?

00:00 Nov/30/1999

Every year it's a proper circus when it's voting time at DJMag's yearly poll. The question on everybody's mind, who is the best of the best? While many oppose this voting, there are others that get really psyched with any competition there is. The Dutch, obviously, have a lot of top spots. As we've talked about it, the Netherlands is like a production line for top DJ-producers. As expected, there's little change in the top rankings. Maybe Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike rank surprisingly high at #6, but Armin van Buuren #2, Avicii #3 and Steve Aoki #8 is no surprise. It's maybe a little weird that Skrillex comes in only at #11, but that may be contributed to the fact that he's been concentrating more on his side projects such as Dog Blood with Boys Noize and others. Although it came as a surprise to some people that Hardwell took the top spot, it's really not a big one, if you consider the releases and especially the performance Hardwell gave at Ultra. Interview with Hardwell and the complete list below!
