record pools/serato question
Posted on: 23.09.2009 by Johnsie Kingrea
Hey guys I'm part of 2 records pools djcity.com and franchiserecordpool.com. Both these sites are great. My question is these sites say that they have bpms and overviews already tagged in the mp3 for serato, so is there any sites that support Traktor in the same way? Or if the bpm is already tagged for serato will Traktor detect it as well? Traktor is great but the time I spend on beatgrids is brutal.

I've used one called mymp3pool.com. Says it's for a number of programs. Haven't tested with Traktor yet.

If Traktor detects the BPM correctly, or even just reads the tags for it, you still need to set a beatgrid. The track would nede to have the beatgrid written in it already.

I havent seen to many, I heard that Beatport was going to do something similar with T_Pro.
