Interference with Kontrol?
Posted on: 03.11.2012 by Efren Ettling
Does anyone know, if I use the instant gratification TSI, for example, in Traktor Pro, can I still map other traktor effects on the Kontrol (s2 or s4) in conjunction with the Midi-fighter mapping without interfering with the MF mapping or the kontrol mapping?

Also - does anyone know if there's a limit to how many effects you can map to any given midi controller? E.g. if you had a controller with 100 buttons, could you map 100 effects from traktor? Or is there a limit - because I only see 3 effects knobs on the kontrol.

THANKS

Yes you can still map other controllers also.
If you force each mapping to toggle AND select a certain effect when you push a button you'll be fine.
Each device will then instantly load and play the desired effect, overriding previous made effect selections.
The mf mapping is already prepped that way, it load its own effects whenever you press a button.
So when you set up your other device mappings you wanna force those effect selections too.
In theory you can have 100 effect combo's, but only 3 per unit at a time.
