Ableton Drum Rack LED Feedback with Spectra?
Posted on: 17.02.2013 by Hettie Giacchino
Hi guys,

First time posting here, so hey, what's up, I'm new

I received my Spectra last week (first time using it) and I've been messing around with it in Traktor and Ableton and some other DAW's as well.

At the moment I'm using Maschine live (I play samples and keys in my band) but using the Spectra would lighten my load even more - travelling with more than enough gear as it is.

I use the different banks in Maschine for different songs, but I might be able to replicate the functionality using Drum Racks and the Spectra.

Now, I know how to get LED feedback when playing a pad/button and when playing it back, but what I would ideally like to do, is have LED feedback on my Spectra, indicating which clip in a drum rack is loaded. I know which song is loaded currently by the pattern on the pads in Maschine (can't always look at the software as I'm changing patches for another keyboard in Reason).

Is there a way to achieve this?
