Loyd Cilek 04.12.2012 | Sweet, thanks FEP! |
Tatum Ansaldo 03.12.2012 | No, scratch licences are only needed for timecode. |
Loyd Cilek 02.12.2012 | Do you need TS Pro to use HID mode? |
Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | woop... how amazing is the nexus........ i broke my audio 6 and now my turntables have be resurrected!!! |
Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | nice.. setting it up now |
Tatum Ansaldo 22.11.2012 | Assuming you have a scratch licence, then yes. The nexus sound card is traktor scratch certified. |
Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | on another note... can i run 1200 timecode thru the nexcus?? if so... happy days |
Tatum Ansaldo 22.11.2012 | Wow... yeh that'll stop it working! |
Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | yea man... using the nexus soundcard out... the reason shit did not work was because i did not have traktor open ......... loser |
Tatum Ansaldo 22.11.2012 | By the way, you'd be better off using the DJM-900 soundcard rather than the 2 CDJs aggregated. It probably won't be noticeable, but if you use the DJM soundcard you miss out a DA/AD conversion step. I use the digital outs on my 2000NXS to avoid that, but I don't believe the digital out works when you're using it as an audio interface/controller. |

Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | have downloaded the firmware.. but as i am on mac the file come up as .upd? cant use them.... from the vids i have seem they should be plug and play |
Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | i have them plugged in usb.. downloading 2.6 now.. the native site is slow so 50 mins for 300 mb also thanks for the quick reply |
Tatum Ansaldo 22.11.2012 | 2000s should work fine with 2.5. Make sure you have the latest CDJ firmware installed. Macs don't need drivers for the 2000s so that shouldn't be the issue, how do you have them plugged in? Are they in advanced HID mode? Sammie Okeeffe 22.11.2012 | + i am on 2.5... do i need to update to 2.6? |
