Buying more equiptment.. What to do???
Posted on: 03.06.2013 by Seth Bennage
So I recently made a few extra bucks at work, so I'd like to buy some new stuff.. I currently have a pioneer ddj-sx.. I love it, but would also love a pair of pioneer cdj's as well..

I've been searching around and have seen some pretty sweet deals on craigslist.

One option is finding a pair of used cdj 2000's for around $2000. believe it or not I have seen them at this price a few times, but you have to time it just right. They move fast..

Another option is a pair of cdj 900's with a djm 700. I found a guy selling that set up in good condition for $2000. Also comes with flight case.

Basically I would like to spend around $2000 for some new gear. Something that will last long and hold some value.

What do you believe?

Both players have identical BPM accuracy showing 1 decimal place.

The waveform is seen better on the nexus screen. It might be the same size but it has higher resolution

Go for 900's. I have a pair and love em. I use 2000's at gigs and don't notice much of a difference in terms of functionality. That screen though.

Don't buy 2000's unless you get Nexus, that's just my opinion.
