Barabara Yellowhair 28.03.2013 | I bought one recently. It's great value for the money. My comments would be: * cross fader doesn't feel very nice. * the eq sounds meh, must have a very limited range. But at least it is full kill. * The hi/lo pass filters are in the effect unit, so it's pretty cumbersome to apply them. You need to spin an encoder to say which channel to apply effects, then spin&press a different encoder to select the filter. (I tend to use the built in traktor filters via midi) * You can't apply effects to AUX. I route traktor's sample decks through there, so it's a bit annoying to not be able to apply effects to them (you can however apply effects to the mic input, but I don't believe it would be a good idea to hook a line level up to that) So yeah, for basic 2 channel mixing; it's very good, especially considering the price. But I'm probably going to upgrade to a 4 channel mixer soon. (My setup: * 2 technics via A6 * nox404 * hacked up korg padkontrol for cuepoints/samples) |
