Recording Mixes from CDJ's
Posted on: 04.06.2013 by Nyla Ach
I am very new to this, I have recently purchased a pair of CDJ200's and a DJX700 Mixer.

I was just wondering if its possible to connect my CDJs/Mixer to my macbook pro?

I am on a budget so don't really want to buy any additional hardware as sound quality isn't too much of a big deal at the moment.

If this is possible, how do I do this and what software would you recommend?

The 15inch is the side of my macbook, I don't know if that's much help?

Yup, standard RCA to miniplug will do.

Ok great thanks, what sort of wire will I need for this? Just a standard AUX?

If your Mac doesn't have a dedicated Line In jack just plug it into the headphones jack and change this:

Edit: After reading you have a 15", Line In is the one closer to the back.
