Reply to VCM-100 compatible with DJTT firmware?

Here's the chip on the VCM-100 PCB, and the socket for the upgrade kit is there too.


Does anyone know if it's possible to use the DJTT 1.4 firmware on the VCM-100? From what I can tell the MIDI functionality is identical for both controllers.

Is there any way I can back up the existing firmware from the chip beforehand?
