browsing and set preparations and what not. I have a nice laptop already but its been taking a beating carrying it everywhere/everyday.... I came across this deal last week and pulled the trigger. There's a lot of negative reviews on Windows 8 RT but this Lenovo Yoga is awesome for what I wanted. Really thin. has a keyboard and can be turned into a large tablet. 64gb is enough to carry music that I need/download new tracks. and the battery life is amazing. I have gotten around 8 hours just surfing through Soundcloud and Youtube. oh yeah and its only $299 which the reason I got it. Plus it'll be slightly discounted to 479 bucks. I can't believe Apple is charing 80 bucks for it. Just absurd... There's a really cool one on Kickstarter that uses magnets for essentially infinite adjustability, but it doesn't come out until next year. edit: Just got the Zomo MC-1000. Not really the mount kit I want but oh well! |
| Len Lukawski 17.11.2013 | Love it! Had the mini before as the original iPad was too unwieldy for my liking. Upgraded as we're giving the mini to my son for Xmas. I also wanted something with a bit more grunt to run apps like Traktor DJ, Beatmaker 2, procreate etc. Retina screen is gorgeous. The hardest thing is looking at other displays afterwards. ****while writing this on my iPhone, the dictation kicked in. It was too ridiculous to delete: I showed Lunalilo stand back up carefully carefully place when the, I'll try again one time that they should all be the same length)**** The build quality feels much better than the mini (haven't compared with mini retina). Volume buttons don't feel cheap like the ones on the original mini. Battery drains much faster than mini (MUCH FASTER) but I'm doing more on it and I haven't bothered with the normal battery optimizing stuff. I also got a KHOMO case for it (pictured) for $15 versus the $80 apple one. So far it's been great |
