Ipad multichannel recording ... DVS possibility ?
Ipad multichannel recording ... DVS possibility ? Posted on: 13.06.2012 by Rolanda Clodfelder I don't know how this one skipped under the radar, I believe this is the only "true" multichannel sound card for IOS, theres the behringer UFO which will do stereo ok. But in theory given that this is a 4channel recording interface theres a possibility to use an iPad as a DVS solution (if someone will get off their backside and do it).... Mixxx for iPad perhaps - ohhh wouldn't it be nice | |

Cristian Carmona 14.06.2012 | I could see SSL 1.9.2 running on a iPad. |
Rolanda Clodfelder 14.06.2012 | Cant see why not?, an intel atom can handle timecode in Mixxx iPad CPU is faster and less crap running in the background. Final Scratch 2 used to run on a 1ghz Pentium and we would not be talking all the Effects functions of Traktor, but a basic plug and play minimal DVS kinda like serato/itch (or even djay/cross for iPad with DVS functions). |
Julius Schoenhofer 14.06.2012 | I'm not sure that the iPad has enough CPU power to handle timecode, though I'm sure it will in the future. |
Rolanda Clodfelder 15.06.2012 | Good call mate ... http://www.alesis.com/iomix Another one of those little things that seemed to skip under the Radar.... The possibility is there, 4 preamps are built in so if the EQ curve could be adjusted in software to allow for vinyl I can't see a reason why 2 independent decks of timecode couldn't be utilized somehow ? *edit wrong link - need sleep |
