Kontrol X1 mkI users - who's in for this? Posted on: 29.09.2013 by Kellie Myrum What's up guys, People tend to send me many requests for X1 mkI custom Traktor mapping and since I don't have one here at my barbershop I'm always sorry to reject this requests or to do imagine whole thing in my mind to create and send for testing which is quite time consuming. Here is my idea. I'll be activating a PayPal account tomorrow so anybody who is interested for an X1 mkI custom mapping serviced by myself can donate to my count and help me grab this unit. I usually start charging at 50$ (depending on complexity) but in this case I would lower the price at 40$ so basically all we need are five interested to make this project happen and we all can benefit. All you guys willing to participate will not just get a custom mapping perfectly fitting to your workflow but also performance mapping Ill be releasing soon after each guy gets his own custom map. To sign up, just leave a reply in this thread and I'll PM you with all the details. If this idea evolve we can do the same thing for the X1 mkII or pretty much any controller that you guys would love to have a custom mapping for. Peace,

And even Ean Golden rather keeps his x1 instead of the mk2 and that's not a money issue, but because of his own mapping. You have two more encoders on the x1 to map and do some insane things with. I still hope Stewe gets his project going. People 40 dollars for a complete mapping that's a bargain.

Kellie Myrum 18.10.2013	Terribly sorry to say guys but I'm definitely canceling this project... The mk1 is now drawn from market here in serbia. DJTT store seem to still have them available but $108 for shipping is a bummer as we can't even chip in for the actual unit.

Kellie Myrum 14.10.2013	Would rather finish this project first I'll have custom ninja mapping in couple of weeks from now so if nobody else apply very soon I'm afraid I wont be having free time for a month or so to dedicate for this project and have all five X1 mappings ready by then.

When we agree about whole idea and concept you could send me amount and I'd sing you for third mapping slot. No. You can consider it as a bonus

Jonathan Chiuchiolo 01.10.2013	paying $40 for a well thought out custom mapping isn't too much... it takes more than a few hours to make a mapping as well as 100's of hours to learn how to do it to the level of Stewe, and really it's equivalent to getting a brand new controller.

I wouldn't agree because there is a certain amount of time and effort I would put in to creating this mappings for everybody. As for the price I can say that point of 40$ is reasonable if you want a good quality mapping specially designed for your taste.
