NI summer sale 2012? Posted on: 02.06.2012 by Sylvia Greener What's your guess? Traditionally NI comes up with a special summer sale in June. There has been one in 2010 and 2011. Both times all kinds of NI updates, upgrades and crossgrades were 50% off! Great deal! Do you believe this will be there again 2012? What's your opinion?

Dorie Scelzo 10.06.2012	I mean…they dropped a lot of prices not too long ago and just launched the F1 and some more sampled instruments. I'm still hoping for maschine 1.8 to address a few issues, but I wouldn't expect anything in that department until the MPC R and S are ready to ship.

To be honest, I don't believe there will be a major Maschine update soon (like the Maschine 2.0 or MK2). As it is now, Maschine is already quite versatile and still bestselling. Rochel Gleese 04.06.2012	I really don't believe there will be a new Maschine for a while, for one thing they'll wait until Akai drop their new MPC and they haven't released 1.8 yet I'm guessing their will be sme improvements to come after that and people if you read the NI community s want some serious make overs to Maschine, its gong to take Neil next year easily, that would be my bet.
