Dj Baws Xerto - First mix Posted on: 08.10.2010 by Tajuana Dellenbach Hi guys this is my first mix in djing. It's not a big mix just something that i tried to start with it. My dj friend told me it's not that good so i wanted to post it here and get some feedback so i can learn how to create some good mix's.I really want to become good at mixing so say what u believe bad good "u shoulda do this and that". | david lalinde 09.10.2010 | your transitions are pretty bad. just saying... try not use use so much flanger..although a cool effect i believe to many people use it, however it is a great "coverup" for when you are trying to mix different geners if i were you i would use the loop function...get the beat where it drives hard...loop either 8 counts...16...32..whatver u want...and mix into that. that way you get a good intro for the next track while still playing the current track.. efx are a great way to spice up any mix..but get ur beat matching down and transitions down first. anyhow not a bad first mix..i am sure we all have done worse! check our mixes out if you can. http://www.masterbeaters.com |
| Efren Awalt 09.10.2010 | I actually like it. Not a big fan of the flanger effect (mainly the 2nd one) but I can only hope I get to mix like that once I get my gear! |

| Tatum Ansaldo 09.10.2010 | First transition was a little harsher than the second, if you're just starting out maybe loop intros and outros and work the EQs to bring the new track in gently. |
