Thread of Freestyle jams?
Posted on: 11.10.2012 by Debrah Arnaout
Not sure if anyone here still digs freestyle. Im talking The Cover Girls, Debbie Deb, Noel, etc. I grew up listening to this stuff from my mom and it kinda stuck. Obviously being 20 I didnt grow up when this stuff was prime so im still trying to find some good songs to look out for when digging through vinyl. If you have any jams throw them.

This is dipping in the later 80s. I'm not really into the vocals but the extended intro is hella jammin

Kano's tight. I always thought they were classified as Disco or Funk.

I'm tempted to say this is one of the first Freestyle songs. I believe this came out before your more mainstream Shannon songs.
