Two new tracks to share, one on the deepend and the other more 'experimental'

Here's two tracks I'd like to share. One I just finished this weekend, and another I finished some time ago but am deciding to share with you guys.

The first one is the latest one, and is more of a deep house affair. Bouncey bassline with a reso one underneath it to give it some weight and body. Also some soft Jupiter8 pads in there as well as a Miig Voyager lead line to help balance things out.

The second one is me more experimenting with different writing techniques/approaches and just experimenting with some different things while still trying to keep it dance floor friendly. After listening to it again wouldn't hurt to back over the mixdown again (did this before I got my new monitors) but it's still not bad for what it is I'd say.

Cheers guys and thanks for listening!

Yeah, I agree with what you're saying, might go back and redo that drop, and I believe adjusting the mixdown would make it have more impact as well

I know, right! What a concept, actually making music just to share with people instead of trying to be the most popular.

Thanks again, not really sure how to categorize it, but it just works I believe and at the end of the day that's all the matters I'd say

I like it a lot actually, and was digging that little build up you had around the 3;40 mark. I was just wanting it to keep that deep house techy feeling but just go a little harder after that point. "beefed up"

Not feeling the bassline as is?

I Really like the feel and dig the 2nd track
keep working on it.
I was hoping around 3:40 for a drop into a deep bassline.

Nice tracks man, cool style

Dug the first one, it changed nicely when it felt it should / when you expect it to. Progressed nicely.

That opening lead synth is the second one has a nice character. And I dig those toms. Agree on the mixdown comment, a couple of the add on synth sounds seemed a touch too loud but thought it was generally pretty even. A more discernable drop around the 4:16 mark could be cool, and pretty stripped down.

That could come down to the writing as far as "dimensions", but the second one sounds a little dull or hollow to me now that I had a chance to listen to it again after not hearing it for a minute.

I like the second one a lot so far, it's different.

That's interesting you say the second mixdown needs more work and you did it on your old monitors. I actually believe the second mixdown sounds a little better than the first- second seems to have a little more dimension. Both good tunes.
