'DN4 DJ's' - Anyone had any expiereince of working with these guys? Posted on: 24.07.2012 by Tyree Mccanney Just been contacted by this London based DJ agency about the possibility of working with them. Their site seems pretty genuine (if a little short on content http://dn4djs.com/). They have asked if I can give them a call today, but before I do that I was just wondering if any of the DJTT community have had any experience of them? Any insights would be appreciated! | |

Diogo Dj Dragão 14.11.2012 | I'm SO GLAD someone beat me to posting the link to the Mixmag article. No doubt these parasites will just close the doors and change the name before continuing their scam. Communities like this one are the only real defense against this kind of thing. |

I am such a good DJ that they made ME pay THEM for gigs. Only a company committed to excellence knows the value of having their DJs get a little skin in the game before getting them the big gigs. And the organizational skills are unprecedented. They helped me organize my entire music collection by artist. It didn't take too long, but they showed me a great way to separate the two artists in my collection between "Avicii" and "Skillrez". These guys are like my best friends. They care so much about their DJs that they'll share their secrets with you like what they're afraid of and what embarrassing artists they have on their iPod. You'll share yours with them like your bank's routing number and mother's maiden name. How can guys like that be interested in scams? |

Larita Smaga 24.10.2012 | There is an article about this in the latest Mixmag, if you are interested. |

Lillia Datson 24.10.2012 | Well im sharing this thread to make awareness of this lot. Toooooo dodgy. |
Tyron Pudenz 24.10.2012 | Plus i have never heard of "DJ mikey mac" or "DJ d flex" not exactly Ibiza headliners so sod being on the same roster as you - if you are the guy who tried to pull a fast one on me for 470 quid under these names - take note I will eventually find you |
Tyron Pudenz 24.10.2012 | I was approached by these jokers a while back and I believe it was because I replied to ad for dj's wanted in gumtree.com (thought id wouldn't hurt) I was called by this guy on the phone and immediately after i was sent an email with the contract and only made aware upon reading about the 400 odd quid charge and he then told me in a following phone call that that was for artist management and not DJ booking and that i should email the sender for a DJ booking agency. 2/3 months later I have still heard nothing and have checked the website since and noticed the events flyers have also changed - they have just put up a load of bull**** flyers of very old random events - which some of them i know for a fact they have had nothing to do with as I have worked under the same promoters and know they do not use any agency at all....stay clear! |

Florene Tolo 03.09.2012 | So prove it? You say they've progressed your career? Post up your DJ soundcloud, facebook, twitter, logo, whatever. The company helps you with that kind of stuff that "you don't have time for" remember? Post a picture of a flyer with your name on it, ANYTHING. Amazing thread. If anyone didn't believe they were a scam before, they certainly do now. As with the others though, I'm willing to be proven wrong, so post any VERIFIABLE evidence that this company is legit. If you can't do that, then nobody has reason to believe a word you say. |
Cynthia Mott 03.09.2012 | I have had the same thing in the past, learnt my lesson had a bad time but not all is the same in my experience |
Cynthia Mott 03.09.2012 | There is no protection I'm just explaining my experience |
Noriko Lebowitz 03.09.2012 | and also, I found their "roster".... Where are you MikeyMAC and DJ DFlex? Exactly. Screen Shot 2012-09-03 at 3.11.19 PM.jpg Screen Shot 2012-09-03 at 3.16.24 PM.jpg |
Noriko Lebowitz 03.09.2012 | What a joke. DN4DJS, you make me sick. Delete all of your fan boy accounts on here and move along. Don't worry, I'll be letting a lot of people know about you. But hey, "bad publicity is still good right?" .....Wrong. |

Cynthia Mott 03.09.2012 | Since joining DN4 I have nothing but positive things to say about the way how the team have gone out of their way to help individuals to progress forward with DJ career; I have been djing for a long time now and DN4 have always had others and me booked on events so I have no issues with them. I have read the negative comments and find them very hard to digest; these type of wordings can put the organization in a dark light and prevent the DJs from moving forward to bigger and better opportunities that will occur so before you all start posting negativity remember what I have stated. |

This is probably because this thread is google search result #4 when you pop DN4Djs into it. This also falls perfectly in line with our friend receiving calls to take down the thread. And some facts we know about the company: - A few people here have legit complaints with your company, which seem to go in line with the 'scam' angle. - They charge artists to be managed up-front, which is a not-very-common business model by my experience, especially with no guarantee of success. - They claim to have been around for years but their domain, twitter and other assorted social media accounts spun up in February of this year. I don't have a warped agenda, I have a firey hatred for scams and in particular really distrust companies that dispatch agents to float fake positive reviews rather than fix their image through actual changes in their behavior. I'd prefer people not get taken advantage of (as is obviously happening per previous remarks in this thread) and I am a little amazed that you would consider my skepticism about that business model 'shady', though again, as an agent of DN4 it's likely you're just speaking out of hurt. If there are actual, quantifiable, distinct positive experiences you've had with DN4, then air them. Cite specific gigs. Give details. Otherwise I'm going to continue to disbelieve you loudly. i mean, i'm not saying I know anything. i'm saying all this going on right now is shady as hell and i'm getting more and more skeptical that there's any truth in it. i'd be glad to be proven wrong. |

I thought the idea of these community s was to hear all sides of the story and to give honest opinions and that is what I have done. thanks for your interest in what I had to say but your opinions should be kept to yourself as it is obvious to me that you have some warped agenda going on here. |

Jonas Hanway 31.08.2012 | I'm surprised in that case there hasn't been a few brand new accounts popping up singing their praises. Shifty as hell.. You've asked a question about them and they've been in touch asking you to remove a question about their validity.. MASSIVE avoid. Hopefully this topic will trend on google and other people can steer clear too. |
