VST Shopping Posted on: 05.05.2010 by Gregory Finely Next couple of months I intend picking up a few vst's for Ableton, looking for a good all in one synth EG Albino 3 and also going to be picking up a minomoog already set my mine on the GForce Minimonsta, so is there anything else people could recommend which they believe is pretty decent, mainly working on Deep and Tech house for now ;-) | |

Giselle Kawalec 25.05.2010 | thats good man.. keep it up! i believe ableton and reason really helop beginners understnad routing and the basics of production! haha i hardly have any synth plug ins.. most of my plug ins are all processes haha |
Da Sunlounge 24.05.2010 | after you've picked up all your synths... i recommend PSP Vintage Warmer 2... it sounds niiiiiiiiiiiiiice when applied to really hard digital synths... |

Toni Hinga 19.05.2010 | VSTi - Kontakt! Closest to analog sound you will get. Pick your libraries wisely... VST - Nebula - by far the best for eq, tube pres, and tape but a little buggy for live use but for production....forgetaboutit! Sony Oxfords - Limiter and Inflator rock Stillwell - Everything Ohm - everything Maybe ive said too much...lol |
Gregory Finely 18.05.2010 | Cheers Jason will check that out toevening can't see Youtube in work |

Belen Wermes 16.05.2010 | ya all the rob papen, camel audio, uberschall and native instruments stuff |
Cammie Cornelius 15.05.2010 | i just got my hands on Dcam Synth Squad , they are great everything you could need , you need a pretty fast OS to run them on tho me and my mate are running them on 3ghz 8 core mac with 10 gig ram so obv that is not an issue however on my macbook 2.5 duel core with 4 gig ram it can strugle at times but still workable if i freeze the track (on logic) besides that try looking at "ARTURIA V COLLECTION" or "ARTURIA Analog Factory" which is a nice cheaper little package which comes with its own midi controler some of sounds on it are great others are hit and miss to be honest but still a great buy |
Randal Biza 15.05.2010 | Sylenth and Minimonsta http://www.gforcesoftware.com/ins_minimonsta.php http://www.lennardigital.com/modules/sylenth1/ |
Riccardo gava 13.05.2010 | this... Alchemy Absolute beast I tell you! |
Marybeth Escandon 12.05.2010 | I recommend looking into: Sylenth - All around stellar synth Waldorf Largo - Great VST if you don't want to buy a proper virtual analog synth In my opinion, the most important thing above all is to learn each VST inside and out before you learn another. It might seem tedious, but you'll waste a hell of a lot of time fumbling around if you don't dedicate the time to learn. PS: MiniMonsta rocks! |

Though really i would say dont go out and buy a ton of synths at once, pick one, buy it, learn it inside out then when your ready to move on grab another. Cant go wrong with starting with Massive though |
Latoria Kavulich 06.05.2010 | Nexus & Vanguard are wicked. Long shopping list mate lol. |
Jayne Yellowhair 06.05.2010 | I've tried Nexus, and even though it's really cool, I believe it's too easy (if that sounds logical..?) I mean the sounds are so awesome even if they are untuned. Today, I discovered a 'string' VST (free!) called 'DSK Strings', can be downloaded HERE. Sorry if you were not looking for free VSTs but I guess some money saving can't hurt, right? |
Random X 06.05.2010 | +1 on Nexus, is truly all in one. Also check on Trillian and Omnisphere by Spectrasonic their truly brilliant! NI:Massive is awesome for LFOs and shit! |
Graham Frazier 06.05.2010 | ReFX Nexus is badass. |
Latoria Kavulich 05.05.2010 | Rebirth for iPhone Massive + Absynth and a few Kore soundpacks! Oh BTW, added u on house-mixes buddy. |
Gregory Finely 05.05.2010 | Cool NI shall be added into the list of must check demos |
Latoria Kavulich 05.05.2010 | NI Massive I love Albino 3. Managed to get The Cosmosis Psytrance presets for it. Wicked. |
