Make you bounce... "CUZ I SAID" ...

Just wanted to share a short track with you all. My buddy Rukus Fortyfive on the track on one of my beats. Friday evening sessions, and we came out with this.

A simple beat, minimal'ish hip hop... but I believe it works well with his rhyme style.

LoL at the picture in the video... it wasnt one of those 'artsy & deep' pictures.... actually he was so juiced from the hard liquor that evening , he was hurtin... haha what a light weight! - .. I just snapped the picture anyways.

the effect on his vocal as in, the verse or the chorus..?

if you're talking about chorus...

I sampled the rapper GAME's voice ... and did vocal chops on it, the words he's saying dont even make sense.... basically used his vocal as an instrument...

if you're talking about the verse,

it's 2 tracks of the same lyrics, meaning he had to do his verses twice exactly and its layered on top of each other.

track 1 is hard panned left and track 2 is hard panned right

both tracks are bussed and added touches of reverb and saturation. EQ added to remove any lower frequencies.

its not typically how i'd set up vocals, (i'm still learning this part of recording) i was just experimenting with it.

it sounds much different on my monitors, I believe youtube makes stuff mono ??
