A new twist to sample packs from 5pin Media
A new twist to sample packs from 5pin Media Posted on: 26.06.2010 by Breana Singerman If you sick of getting the same old sample packs that don't leave a lot of room to work with, you should check out what the guys at 5pin Media are doing. They only have a few packs out now,but the most interesting thing they provide with their sample packs is the actual midi tracks to accompany the wav samples. Find a groove you like, but don't like the sample? Find the midi track that accompanies the wav loop and switch it out. What if you find a keys loop that you believe will make for a killer bassline with some editing? Find the midi file, arrange a few notes, load up your favorite bass synth and viola you have your new jacking bassline ready to work. With 5pin Media's sample packs you don't have to worry about using the same sounds/samples as everyone else who buys it because you can swap out and combine your own samples with the midi loops and have your own sound still. Here's their latest one that I stumbled on today, http://www.loopmasters.com/product/details/548 And here are the other two they've done, http://www.loopmasters.com/product/deta | |

And not just loops either, but all the single hit samples as well are worth it too. Such a good value for the price. Definitely a worth wild investment if you're planning on doing this for a living. |

Suzanna Paddock 27.06.2010 | Thanks, Sounds good but $70Cad is a bit steep for the occasional looper that I am. I like the midi & unquantized recording though. Any samples anywhere? cheers |
