My New Favorite Plug-in
My New Favorite Plug-in Posted on: 23.07.2010 by Harold Jaras Alloy, from izotope.i've always been a fan of ozone (as i'm sure almost everyone who has used it is), and so i looked into alloy, which promised to do to tracks what ozone did to mastering. and it does. i'd always been cool with using the standard channel eq in logic, but i doubt i'll be doing that anymore. it really is a beast for individual tracks. i know i probably sound like i'm being paid to write this, but i just really love this plug-in. definitely try it if you have the means ($250 for download). http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/alloy/ | |

Riccardo gava 24.07.2010 | +1 on that, great plugin! I like how you can switch in more or less plugin sections so you only use what you need... It's one of my 'goto' plugins for quickly sorting out vocals. E.q (with spectrum analyzer for ref), 2 layers of compression and gates then limiter = job done and light enough cpu wise to use on loads of tracks too! f*ck.... NOW I sound like an advert too - sorry haha |
