newb ableton question Posted on: 26.08.2010 by Nikki Mcpeek watching a tutorial and the guy opens the simpler and drags a one shot sound into it and then he hits play on his midi and tweaks it. but my question is, how do i play the sample that i have in the simpler? and i have a keyboard and currently have the intro version of live.thanks in advance | |

| Shantae Mettle 29.08.2010 | set the midi input up, set monitor to "in" if its not visible click the io tab on the far right. you may also have to turn the input on in the preference menu, find your midi device and turn on its track button, |
26.08.2010 | click the red button at the bottom of the track to arm it for MIDI input. mash keyboard. profit. it's all in the manual... read it. the ableton manual is actually one of the better ones out there IMO. |
