Janyce Jardon 20.12.2010 | and ull have to set the portemano up to 40-50% so you get that kind of whiney gliding sound to it aswel... or u can pitch bend it manually, but thats only if you want specific notes to glide and others not to... |
Su Cognevich 25.11.2010 | wikid thanks dude will give it a try |
Lillia Doc 25.11.2010 | you need to load an instrument device. Either it be Ableton's Operator or a synth VST - you need something to make the initial sound. Operator uses a saw synth as its basic sound, so does NAtive Instrument's Massive. then just automate the pitch. That is the simplest (yet most time confusing) way to create a dirty dutch melody. |
Su Cognevich 25.11.2010 | Cool cheers where can i find a saw synth on the live devices browser? |
Lillia Doc 26.11.2010 | thats a pretty simple saw synth. You can basically set up pitch automation using the red lines to create your wanted melody. |
Su Cognevich 24.11.2010 | @tigerstyle, cheers man i'll give that a try @jesc...yeah defo a voice based, i'll record my own voice instead of sampling someone elses and then add the synths and plugins to it, just wondering which to add to give it that sound.... Somethin like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MziUzn-dePk the effect that comes in at about 50 seconds in |
Cristian Carmona 24.11.2010 | are you looking at making the synth based or voice based dirty dutch? |
Keith Mermer 24.11.2010 | if you're talking about those hi pitched leads; just load up a saw wave in simpler or find a similar patch on a synth. that should get u going |
