All e has on in the fx is 1 delay (im assuming its no chain?) and 3 parameters, feedback, rate and filter with FRZ etc underneath instead of the regular ON button that is there. how do i go abouts setting this up in traktor?

i dont believe so. it's really just the three buttons in the advanced fx tab not more, not less
I guess I was believeing of pressing the button and getting the delay/freeze effect if it's not already on. Even then I've only got eight commands mapped for the same effect.

You put the effect unit in chained mode. Click delay and just hit the freeze button. the knob on top determines the time it takes for it to freeze
