Like if I have a Instrumental Album of DJ Premier, is it alright for me just to lay tracks down on his instrumentals and post up the mixtape? Because personally I believe that sounds 2 easy. | |

| Leeanna Ayla 22.01.2011 | If you don't own the copyright or have direct permission from the person or corp that does own the copyright then you can't upload it. DJ's can usually get away with it because many labels see it as promotion, what you want to do sounds different though and may actually be frowned upon. You should probably focus on finding a friend to lay some beats down for you or look into buying some samples and loops or such and doing it yourself. |
